Project Quantity Surveyor – Sports Stadium – Galway

We are currently partnering with a Tier 1 Main Contractor with bases across Ireland who have seen success across a number of projects. Due to continued success, there is currently now the need for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a Stadium build.

Responsibilities

Cost Management: Monitor and control project costs from procurement through to final account, ensuring alignment with budget and programme targets.
Procurement & Contracts: Prepare tender packages, manage subcontractor procurement, and administer contracts in line with company and client requirements.
Valuations & Reporting: Prepare monthly valuations, cost reports, and cash flow forecasts to support project and commercial management teams.
Change Management: Assess, value, and agree variations and change orders promptly, ensuring risks and opportunities are identified and managed.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with site teams, design consultants, and client representatives, while providing commercial guidance to junior QS staff.

Requirements

Must have relevant degree level Quantity Surveying qualification or similar
Must have 5+ years’ experience in a similar role working for a main contractor
Must have excellent communication skills (Oral & Written)
Must be based within a commutable distance of Galway

Benefits

€70,000 - €80,000 + Package
